The average man is a monster.

At least that’s what Orson Welles claims, playing the grumpy film director in Pier Paolo Pasolini’s film La ricotta. From this statement, a search and a story unfold, intertwining the film’s screenplay, the events of its protagonist, a generic character called Stracci by everyone on the set, Italy in the 1960s, and today’s Italy.
